Effective Websites
An effective website, in my opinion, is one in which the receiver of the message understands it in a way that the sender of the message intended. I think that an effective website should be eye catching and should give the visitor all the information they are looking for. I think that the website should be very well organized so the visitor can navigate to their desination. I also believe that a website should satisfy whatever the person visiting the website needs. For instance, if someone is seeking information or entertainment, etc., they should receive this information. Most importantly, an effective website must bring in return guests. I think that if a website does its job and is effective, people will continue to return for more information.

I totally agree with your response to what an effective web site should be. I know that when I visit a web site, I too want the specific information that I'm looking for to be readily available. I also thought it was great to include the website needing to bring guests in order for it to be effective. Good job with the blog.
Kimmie,
I agree with you that easy navigation is extremely important. You have made some good points here and I think you can use those as the criteria for your project.

I think it's very important for the writer to make sur the audience understands what your intended purpose is. If the writer doesn't establish this right away, then the main purpose of the website is lost.
